There are 25 coins in a tube.
When the tube is closed and completely filled, there is the least risk of the coins oxidising. In addition, each unopened Kangaroo silver tube is sealed.
Only coins in very good condition will be accepted at the stated price. For coins in poorer condition (oxidation, milk spots or oxidized fingerprints), we will determine the purchase price after consultation with our dealers.
In addition to the Perth Mint's eponymous and successful gold coin, which has been minted since 1986, the silver version has also been available as a bullion coin since the 2016 vintage. Australia's most famous animal - the kangaroo - is also imprinted on the side of the coin. Previously, there were silver coins from the Perth Mint with various motifs such as the kookaburra, the Lunar series or the silver koala bear.
Due to the ever-increasing demand for silver, the coin is becoming more and more popular.
In addition to the kangaroo, the year of minting, the fine weight and the fineness are also stamped on the side of the motif. Like every Commonwealth coin, the reverse of the coin bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
The face value of this Australian silver coin is 1 dollar and is legal tender in Australia. The fineness of the silver is 999.9 and it can be purchased both individually as 1oz and in coin tubes. The kangaroo silver coin is also available in a so-called master box. It contains 10 tubes of 25 pieces each.
