The precious metal smelter was founded in 1951 under the name Argor SA with its headquarters in Chiasso (TI) in the south of Switzerland. In April 2017, Heraeus took over all shares in the company, which continues to operate as Argor-Heraeus and is one, if not the largest, smelter and producer of precious metals. That's why Argor-Heraeus supplies major banks and central banks and the bars are therefore very easy to sell at banks and other precious metal dealers. This means that when you purchase a silver bar from Argor-Heraeus, you are not necessarily bound to us. We are happy to buy back your bars in good condition at any time.

The bars are individually welded in a plastic cover. A sealed packaging unit from Argor-Heraeus contains 20x 1 kg bars.

In the buyback (purchase) only these bars will be accepted at the stated price. For bars from other manufacturers (including banks or other precious metal manufacturers) and considering the state of preservation, we prepare the purchase price after consultation with our dealer.
